A new Scots mum was left "raging" after blaming her husband for drinking her orange juice while she was ill - to find out the drink had been swiped from a tradie.

Sheridan Hockley, who lives in Edinburgh, bought the 2L bottle after suffering from the flu and a chest infection. The mum, who had also recently given birth, wasn't allowed to take a lot of medication for her symptoms.

Instead, she decided to go "old school" and purchased the large carton of fresh fruit juice in a desperate bid to get better. But when she found the juice missing from her fridge, she was quick to point the finger at her husband, Jay.

Sheridan's sister, Brittany, shared the story on an episode of her podcast, Life Uncut.

She said: "Sheridan went back to her husband Jay absolutely raging. She was hormone-filled, sick, and wanted juice. I cannot believe you drank my juice,' Sheridan spat out. 'You know I am here, struggling to stay alive, and you've drunk the one thing that I can consume."

Jay went on to insist that he never touched his wife's juice. She then moved the blame to her brother-in-law, Jay, who lives in the same apartment complex.

But he claimed he had been at work all day. It was at that moment that Sheridan remembered a tradesman had been at their home to fix their windows earlier in the day. The doorbell camera captured an image of the tradie leaving with the unopened carton of juice.

Brittany said: "He didn't just drink it - he went into their fridge, took the juice, and then left the house with this bottle of juice."

Laura, a co-host, said: "You're allowed to go and get a drink as a tradie but you're not allowed to do your shopping out of their fridge."
