Princess Eugenie's kids were left in tears after a visit to Prince William and Princess Kate's favourite spot.

The 34-year-old royal, who has previously expressed her fear of the ocean, took a trip to a Norfolk beach in 2022 with her sister, Princess Beatrice, and their families.

She posted a charming photo of her husband Jack Brooksbank, along with Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, to celebrate Beatrice's pregnancy announcement.

Beatrice recently revealed she is expecting her second child, and Eugenie congratulated her by writing: "Congratulations Beabea.. So looking forward to more on this journey of motherhood together. And adding another little one to the gang."

However, it was their Norfolk beach trip that left the young ones in tears, despite having "the best time".

Speaking to HELLO magazine, Eugenie said: "We had the best time flopping around in the ocean."

"It was freezing, it was so fun. All the children were soaking and everyone was crying in the end."

Eugenie and Jack are parents to August and Ernest, while Beatrice and Edoardo have a daughter, Sienna. Reflecting on the trip, Eugenie added: "We picked up all the shells and obviously the boys got their hands in the dirt and the sand. That memory brings so much joy."

Prince William news
