Bajaj Pulsar N125 boasts a brand new styling and is powered by a new 125 cc air-cooled engine producing 12 bhp and 11 Nm

Bajaj Auto has today announced the launch of the new Pulsar N125 in the Indian market, priced at Rs 94,707 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Available in a total of two variants, the top-spec trim costs Rs. 98,707 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The motorcycle competes directly with Hero Xtreme 125R, Honda SP 125 and TVS Raider 125 in the highly competitive segment.

The sleek design of the Bajaj Pulsar N125 is complemented by side panels, fuel tank extensions, the headlamp section, and the tail following a cohesive design language, making it stand out among other Pulsar models. The look is further enhanced by slender split seats and a sleek single-piece grab rail. On the sides, the tank extensions showcase bold new Pulsar graphics, along with prominent 125 decals.

The entry-level model gets a smaller LCD console, regular self-starter and narrower rear tyre while the disc variant with Bluetooth comes with vibrant paint schemes, a larger LCD display with smartphone connectivity, wider tyre at the back, and an Integrated Starter Generator for silent start while the auto start/stop tech helps conserve fuel.

Besides the new design, the underpinnings are said to be brought up from scratch as it sits on a new chassis with the powertrain being used as a stressed member. The all-new 124.58 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine kicks out 12 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 11 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. It is connected to a five-speed transmission.

With the best power-to-weight ratio in the segment, the Bajaj Pulsar N125 is also claimed to be the quickest in its segment from zero to 60 kmph. The N125 also comes equipped with a counter balancer to give a refined ride experience. It features a sharp turning radius and a low kerb weight of 125 kg with a seat height of 795 mm and ground clearance of 198 mm.

The LCD cluster provides features like call accept/reject, missed call, and message alerts, along with fuel and economy readings. The base LED Disc BT is available in Ebony Black + Purple Fury, Ebony Black + Cocktail Wine Red and Pewter Grey + Citrus Rush shades while the top-end model is sold in Pearl Metallic White, Ebony Black, Caribbean Blue and Cocktail Wine Red.

The equipment list comprises USB charging port, telescopic front forks, rear monoshock suspension, 17-inch alloy wheels, front disc and rear drum supported by CBS as standard. The reservations for the naked offerings have commenced across India and the customer deliveries will begin soon.
