Royal Enfield has been quite active in launching new products over the past few years and this is quite evident from its diverse portfolio. With consistent sales this year, the Indian two-wheeler manufacturer is planning to launch a slew of new motorcycles in the Indian as well as global markets.

A new scrambler motorcycle based on the current Interceptor 650 is on its way. Dubbed, the Bear 650, Royal Enfield will debut the new bike at the EICMA 2024 along with the price announcement. Expanding its 650cc portfolio, the new scrambler motorcycle will get USD forks, conventional single-sided exhaust and dual-purpose tyres, wrapped around spoke wheels. The Interceptor Bear 650 will also have a fully digital instrument cluster, a straight life-off from the latest Himalayan 450. The Bear 650 will use the familiar 648cc parallel-twin engine, however, there could be some changes in the power band and tuning to better use the bike’s use case.

2. Royal Enfield Classic 650

Set for a debut at the EICAM 2024 next month, the Classic 650 will be a larger displacement version of the Royal Enfield’s best-seller Classic 350. Expected to share its underpinnings with the Shotgun 650, the two-wheeler will draw power from the familiar 648cc parallel-twin engine putting out 47.4 bhp and 52.4 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The production-ready test mules have revealed that the upcoming Royal Enfield Classic 650 will ride on wire-spoke rims, however, alloy wheels with tubeless tyres will likely be offered as an accessory. In addition to this, the design of the Royal Enfield Classic 650 will have a retro charm and it will get a twin peashooter exhaust setup.

3. Royal Enfield Classic Goan 350

Royal Enfield will add another motorcycle to its 350cc range. This time it is a bobber based on the Classic 350, sharing the J-platform. As per the reports, the two-wheeler is expected to be unveiled at the 2024 EICMA. The Classic Goan 350 will feature significant changes to the package including an all-new raised Ape Hanger type handlebar, typical round headlamp, teardrop design fuel tank and a dual split floating seat setup amongst others. It will be powered by the familiar 349cc J-series single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine putting out 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm of peak torque. Mated to a 5-speed gearbox, RE could play around with the gear ratios to match the characteristics of the Bobber.

Royal Enfield is all set to unveil its first electric bike globally at the 2024 EICMA. Expected to be named the Flying Flea, the electric two-wheeler was recently spotted in Europe. Talking about the design, it seems to match the design patent filed a few months back, sporting the typical retro styling with a round headlamp, girder forks upfront, alloy wheels, a single-seat setup and possibly a belt drive system. While the technical details are scarce at the moment, the large battery pack on the latest test mule suggests that it could come with a claimed range of around 200 kilometres on a single charge. The market launch of the Royal Enfield electric bike is expected to happen sometime next year in the Indian market.
