MG Windsor EV Deliveries Commence Today On Dussehra

The MG Windsor EV saw an exceptional response on its first booking day. Within 24 hours, the company secured an impressive 15,176 bookings, setting a record as the first passenger electric vehicle in India to achieve this milestone in a single day. Deliveries for the electric crossover utility vehicle have begun today in India, coinciding with the Dussehra festivities.

Customers can reserve the MG Windsor EV either by visiting the nearest MG dealership or through the official website with a token payment of Rs. 11,000. Based on the Wuling Cloud EV from international markets, the MG Windsor gets a futuristic design that combines elements of both sedan and SUV styles, taking advantage of both body types.

The MG Windsor EV comes with a competitive starting price of Rs. 9.99 lakh, alongside a battery rental option priced at Rs. 3.5 per km under the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) program. For customers opting for an outright purchase, the price begins at Rs. 13,49,800 (ex-showroom). It is equipped with a 38 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which holds an IP67 certification for water and dust resistance, ensuring durability and reliability in various conditions.

The MG Windsor EV produces a maximum power output of 136 PS and peak torque of 200 Nm. It features four driving modes: Eco+, Eco, Normal, and Sport. With an ARAI-claimed driving range of 332 km on a single charge, the Windsor is offered in three variants: Excite, Exclusive, and Essence.

The MG Windsor EV comes in four exterior shades: Starburst Black, Pearl White, Clay Beige, and Turquoise Green. To further enhance its value, MG provides a lifetime battery warranty for the first-time owner along with a year of complimentary charging at public stations through the eHUB by MG app. Additionally, customers are offered an assured buyback of 60 per cent after three years or 45,000 km.
