Clarkson's Farm co-star Kaleb Cooper sheds a stone in 4 weeks after ditching one thing
by Sam Cooper, Ben Hurst · NottinghamshireLiveKaleb Cooper from Clarkson's Farm has surprised fans by revealing that he eliminated sugar from his diet and impressively lost an entire stone within a month. The 26-year-old farmhand, responding to his friend Jeremy Clarkson's recent heart scare which resulted in an urgent operation, shared insights on his dramatic weight loss.
"I'm on a no-sugar thing, and it's all because I had this dream, Kaleb disclosed. He added, "I did and didn't understand the dream, but I knew I had to quit sugar.
"I went to tell Taya [his partner] and she thought I wouldn't do it. I'm four weeks in now, and I've lost six kilos, which is pretty good. I do have the odd cheat day, but only sugars that naturally occur."
The revelation came during an interview with The Sun, coinciding with Kaleb preparing for the launch of his new book titled 'It's A Farming Thing'.
Meanwhile, his colleague Jeremy Clarkson has been candid about modifying his diet following his heart operation, where a stent was placed to address potentially dangerous cholesterol levels and a blocked artery. Expressing difficulty adjusting to dietary restrictions, Clarkson explained, "The worst problem though is diet. To cut my alarmingly high levels of cholesterol, I need to cut out, completely, everything I like eating."
He ruefully listed the foods he must avoid: "Bacon, sausages, beef, lamb, pork, butter, chips, proper milk, Cadbury's fruit and nut bars and the interesting bit in an egg. I've had a week now to live in the new regime and it's horrific."
Sixty-four-year-old Jeremy Clarkson has shared that he was aware his lifestyle was negatively affecting his health and used to have no concerns about the prospect of dying. Yet, now he hopes to see his "grandchildren grow up".
Detailing his scare in a column for The Sunday Times, Clarkson described a "sudden deterioration" in his condition with symptoms such as becoming "clammy", a "tightness in my chest" and feeling "pins and needles in my left arm". After being taken by ambulance to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, tests including an electrocardiogram (ECG), blood works, and X-rays led doctors to discover one artery was "completely blocked and the second of three was heading that way".
His medical team suggested he was "days away" from severe illness. Clarkson underwent a procedure to insert stents promptly within two hours, reports the Mirror.
After quitting smoking following his bout with pneumonia during a holiday in Spain, Clarkson has recently wrapped up the last month’s series of The Grand Tour on Prime Video, which he presented alongside Richard Hammond and James May.
