Roman shoppers are enamoured with the retailer's stylish £48 Corduroy Tunic Shirt Dress, which has become an online hit in three gorgeous autumnal shades. Well-known for offering trendy clothing at wallet-friendly prices, Roman has struck gold this season with a shirt dress that's attracting lots of attention from fashionistas.
The design oozes sophistication with its swing style, featuring long sleeves and shirt cuffs. It offers both style and convenience with partial opening and button fastening, making it an ideal match for tights and boots, reports the Liverpool Echo.
On Roman's own website, the product description enthuses, "This flattering swing style, tunic dress is sure to become a season favourite. The woven cord fabric its cut from and knee length cut keeps it new and original. The button fly front collar and shirt cuffs add authentic details. Pair with tights and boots for a casual but chic look! ".
Satisfaction amongst buyers is evident in the reviews, with one commenting, "Although this dress was quite creased when it arrived, once I had pressed it, it is absolutely stunning. I've worn it twice and no creasing has happened. I'm petite in height, about 5ft, but dress falls just below the knee. I am a size 14 and this dress fits perfectly in that size."
Another customer noted the reliable delivery and lively colour: "Arrived as expected well wrapped. Colour looks darker than illustration but attractive and vibrant. Fine cord fabric wears well but not washed yet. Length below knee for me at 5ft 1ins and fit accurate. Hides a multitude of lumps and bumps."
A third fan commented: "Really lovely colour. Good fit. Flattering shape. Bought two other colours." Meanwhile, a fourth shopper expressed: "As it looked in the photo. Good quality, true to size. Arrived quickly. Very pleased."
One shopper said it was a "nice dress" but advised people to "be aware of the colours". They added: "I ordered the green and although it's marketed as dark green all the pictures show a lovely bright turquoise colour.
"It has arrived as a dark green so be aware the colour is nothing like the advert. Roman, do take note of this as this is the second item that looks brighter in the pics than the actual colour. I am now wary that the 'pink' really is a dark wine."
