Sainsbury's selling 1L bottle of Baileys for just £10 with Nectar card

Baileys lovers can get one-litre bottles of the popular tipple for just £10 thanks to a Sainsbury's deal. The supermarket giant has slashed the price of the drink by over 50% from November 6 to November 17, the Mirror reports.

The offer is available to Nectar card customers, both online and in Sainsbury's superstores, though it's not applicable in Scotland or local stores. It's a deal sure to delight Christmas lovers looking forward to enjoying the popular festive treat this party season, or those who fancy a winter warmer.

Sharing praise for the drink online, a reviewer said: "We love it on desserts added to custards or over ice-cream, in coffee as well drinking it as it is." Another remarked: "Delicious, silky smooth, creamy. Serve with ice for that special clinking sound. Tastes like Christmas in a glass."

Meanwhile, a different consumer said: "Who doesn't enjoy a Baileys over ice? So good! Bought for Christmas but have already opened the bottle!" Someone else added: "It's a great evening when you crack open the Baileys! I have to save it for the perfect Wintery night when the weather is cold but my house is cosy and warm. It's delicious in hot chocolate/coffee but equally as nice chilled in a nice fancy glass. Very creamy, therefore very delicious."

That said, a different reviewer claimed: "Bailey's has always been a firm favourite of mine and I always buy a couple of bottles whenever it is on special. Unfortunately, the last couple of times I've purchased it it appears to have been watered down, not thick and creamy as it should be."

Previously, the drink was priced at £21.95 at Sainsbury's. It's also currently available for just £13 at Asda, Amazon, and Ocado. In addition, Ocado offers Baileys Chocolat Luxe Cream Liqueur for £20.

For those with a sweet tooth, other options include the M&S Collection Tiramisu Flavour Irish Cream Liqueur, which is available for £15, and the M&S Millionaires Irish Cream Liqueur, which costs £12.
