More than a decade on from his remarkable performance on Britain's Got Talent, Jonathan Antoine is hardly recognisable. At the age of 17, he and his singing partner Charlotte Jaconelli captivated the nation during the show's 2012 series, ultimately securing second place behind the duo Ashleigh and Pudsey, as reported by OK! magazine.

After their appearance, they scored an impressive £1m record deal with Simon Cowell's Syco, but parted ways just two years later. Now, 12 years on, Jonathan still calls Hainault in London home, where he lives with his family.

Regrettably, it's been reported that he and Charlotte have not kept in touch, although he once suggested a possible reunion might happen after '20 years'.

In the time that has since past, Jonathan has navigated through various career paths and personal challenges, with his physical transformation being particularly striking. He has lost a significant amount of weight due to changes in his lifestyle and diet, reports the Mirror.

Acknowledging previous struggles with discipline, he has said: "I've still got a lot to lose but I'm making my way. I feel stronger and healthier than I have in 10 years, which is a lot.

"This year I've made an active choice. I've felt I've lacked the discipline a lot. When I was out in America its fast food everywhere. I was in a terrible state in the start of the year and I've been able to claw my way back doing light exercise."

Even though he's now concentrating on his health, Jonathan has had to avoid intensive workouts due to his size, saying: "I'm a very big fella so heavy exercise would just tear me up. I'm working my way up, thinking about what I eat because that is important."

He has dedicated himself to achieving an impressive 10,000 steps each day, even if it means pacing back and forth in his own room, and reports feeling more invigorated than ever before. He added: "For a long time I was just experiencing life, letting life live me, trying to find the next pleasure. Taking control of your own life, grabbing the world with your hands, feels amazing."

Since rising to fame on BGT, Jonathan's career reached new heights as he topped the Classical Artist Album chart with his debut solo album 'Tenore', and has collaborated with notable figures like Mexico’s celebrated tenor Rolando Villazon, and Leone Magiera, the Italian pianist famed for working with Pavarotti.
