Indie band MONDO to drop new single ‘If I Tell You Why’ with acoustic version and music video premiere

Manila, PhilippinesMONDO, a powerhouse band comprised of stalwarts from the indie music scene, is set to release their highly anticipated single, “If I Tell You Why.”

The band will unveil the original and acoustic versions plus the music video of the single, offering music fans a fresh perspective on their folk, rock, and blues sound. The release event will take place on November 16, 2024, at the iconic Saguijo Café & Bar in Makati.

Fronted by Mondo Castro (The Pin-Up Girls) on vocals and guitar, the band features a lineup of some of the respected names in the local indie music scene: Drei Paman (Gaia & Andrei) on lead guitar, Dax Balmeo (Paranoid City) on rhythm guitar,  Gaia Royeca (Gaia & Andrei) on keyboards and backing vocals, Mico Marasigan (Jetcoaster) on drums, and  Lui Rodriguez (Rubber Pool, Caren Tevanny, Peso Movement) on bass.

This launch is supported by some of the biggest platforms in the local music and entertainment industry, including WhenInManila.com, Rock of Manila TV, The Doomrockets, One Music PH, Plus Media, JAM 88.3, Azrael’s Merryland Blog, Bourbon New Orleans Makati, Medyo Late Night with Jojo A., and PULP Magazine. With their support, the release event is expected to draw a crowd of music enthusiasts, indie scene loyalists, and new fans alike.

Join MONDO at Saguijo Café & Bar on November 16th with Rise HighRobyn MSoleil Misalucha, and the legendary Violent Playground. Gates open at 7:00 PM, PHP300 gets you in.
