Motorcyclist sent to hospital after a collision in Etobicoke

A male motorcyclist has been transported to hospital with serious injuries after a collision with a vehicle in Etobicoke.

Police say the incident happened near Rexdale Boulevard and Humberwood Boulevard just after 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.

The driver of the vehicle was also taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Road closures were in effect while police investigated.
