Hunt for dangerous driver after stolen van crashed with three cars in Bristol

A manhunt has been launched to find the driver of a suspected stolen van that crashed with three cars in Bristol today (Wednesday, October 30). Avon and Somerset Police said Scotland Lane, Stockwood, was closed before the stolen van was recovered.

The vehicle was spotted driving dangerously along Bath Road in Keynsham. Police said it collided with three cars but fortunately no one was injured.

Investigating officers are now appealing to the public for information. They are urging witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to get in touch.

Avon and Somerset Police said: "Officers responding to reports of a suspected stolen van closed Scotland Lane, in Stockwood, earlier today (Wednesday 30 October).

"The van had been seen driving dangerously along Bath Road, in Keynsham, and collided with three cars in the road. Thankfully, we have had no reports of injuries and the owners of the three cars have been spoken to.

"The vehicle was recovered in the nearby Scotland Lane, in Stockwood, and enquiries are ongoing to locate the driver. If you have any information which could help our investigation, please call 101 and quote reference 5224286214."
