'Beautifully soft' and 'vibrant' cashmere cardigan that's a 'classic' for autumn
The orange cashmere cardigan from Marks & Spencer been hailed by customers for looking expensive as well as being super soft and easy to style
by Eve Rowlands · BristolLiveWith a chill in the air and October in our midst, Marks & Spencer fans are racing to get their hands on a warm cashmere cardigan that has been praised for its vibrant colour, 'soft' touch and 'expensive' look. Retailing at £95, the pure cashmere tipped detail cardigan from the beloved high street brand is proving popular on the website and has been labelled as 'selling fast'. And it's clear to see why.
A far cry from autumn's usual earthy browns, beiges and khakis, this cardigan is finished in a lovely bright tangerine orange and features, what looks like, a contrasting baby pink trim piping around the ribbed crew neckline. Coming in sizes six to 24, the cardigan is a 'luxurious' piece that can easily be casual or more dressed up.
Crafted with a neat dainty button-through fastening that travels from the neckline to the hem - which is ribbed, matching the top of the cardi - it's the ultimate layering garment that would look stunning with jeans and a graphic tee underneath or a satin skirt and blouse.

Dubbed as a 'beautiful' statement piece, the cardigan is loved by M&S fashion fans for its 'good sizing', versatility and softness - not to mention its unique style. One happy shopper raved: "Love this cashmere cardigan, it looks expensive, material is so soft and easy to style. I also bought matching vest inside and a pair of grey trousers to style together. Definitely recommend it to everyone!"
Another happy customer added: "Fits true to size and is a stunning piece that I will enjoy dressing up and dressing down with my jeans."
The vibrancy of the garment is one detail that has been loved by all who purchase it with one citing it as "a bit different", while another said: "This cardigan is beautifully soft. The bright orange colour really stands out. Very pleased with it."
Despite the overall quality, style and finish of the bright cardigan blowing customers away - it's got an overall rating of 4.8, which is highly impressive - some style lovers would have 'liked it to have been a little longer', although it wasn't a game changer for them as they've worn it already and the quality outweighs this qualm.
On a similar vein, one five star reviewer tagged on the end of their feedback that the sizing was a little large, meaning they had to return their usual size 10 for an eight. Although when it arrive in the correct size, it was 'worth it'.
Looking for something a little more chunky and want to really lean into the orange theme? This Oliver Bonas Trim V-neck knitted cardigan is a little cheaper at £60 and made of recycled polyester, acrylic, nylon and elastane is cosy, comfy and will make your outfit truly pop.
