Eight security personnel injured in road accident in Anantnag - Greater Kashmir

Srinagar, Sep 18: At least eight security persons were injured after a bus they were travelling in met with an accident near Vailoo Dudkul Cheirward Kokernag area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday evening.

Quoting a senior police officer, the news agency NVI reported that at least eight security personnel were injured after a vehicle with registration number JK03-3238 carrying them met with an accident near Cheirward, Kokernag.

He said the injured were rushed to SDH Anantnag for treatment, while details on their condition and identification are yet to be confirmed.

Meanwhile, the police have taken up the investigation.
