Army man shoots himself dead in J-K's Poonch - Greater Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 05: An army man posted in the Behroote Balakote area of J&K’s Poonch killed shot himself dead, reports said Saturday.

Quoting an official, news agency KB reported that the army man died of suicide in Behroote.

The official identified the army man as Manish Bisht, son of Puran Singh, a resident of Kafra in Almora, of northern Indian state of Uttarakhand.

Manish shot himself with his service weapon, resulting in his on spot death, the official said.

An investigation has been taken up in this regard, he said.
