Driver dies in Pampore road accident - Greater Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 27: A 32-year-old driver died after his vehicle met with an accident in the Mandakpal area of Khrew Pampore in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, reports said on Sunday.

Quoting an official, news agency NVI reported that the driver of the dumper lost control of the vehicle, resulting in an accident that caused critical injuries.

The official said that the injured was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.

The body of the deceased, identified as Adil Ahmad Wani (32), was handed over to his family members after completing legal medical formalities, said the officials.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident, said the official.
