Throwback to when Alia spoke about how she straddles success and defeat

Alia Bhatt’s last release in ‘Jigra’ though didn’t do outstanding at the box office, the actress has successfully touched the hearts of the audience who watched the movie. We look back at the interview where Alia reflected on her journey as a prominent actress and life with husband Ranbir Kapoor.

She always puts emphasis on balance between personal and professional life since their marriage in April 2021 and the birth of their daughter Raha.

During the interview with Harper Bazaar, she spoke about how she and Ranbir handle success and failure. While Alia is one who tends to be prone to overthinking, Ranbir being the one who can let go quickly has so far been helpful to her. “We handle things differently, but that difference helps us support each other. We focus on our work with love and respect, treating it as an important part of our lives, but not the entirety of it,” she noted.

Alia unwinds from demanding roles, she has developed ways of reclaiming her personal time. “Now that I’m a mom, I make sure I leave my work behind. My family always comes first, and I’m always a mom first—physically, emotionally, and mentally,” she said. “I mean, I still get trolled. I still get hate comments, but I let my work do the talking and build a wall between me and the negativity...”
