BMTC bus driver dies of heart attack on duty

A Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) driver from Depot 40 passed away from a sudden heart attack while driving his bus on Wednesday. The deceased identified as Kiran Kumar (40) was operating the bus en route from Nelamangala to Dasanapura when he collapsed at the wheel.

Acting quickly, the bus conductor, Obalesh, managed to bring the vehicle to a safe stop. Following the incident, Obalesh immediately transported Kumar to VP Magnus Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead, citing a heart attack as the cause.

The Nelamangala police have registered a case of unnatural death.
