The “memoir” by Sean Combs’s late girlfriend, Kim Porter, allegedly details the time she spent with the disgraced music mogul from 1994 to 2007 through a myriad of short stories and describes a life of physical abuse, sexual coercion, and other violent acts against the model.

This week, Amazon issued a statement, regarding the book. “We were made aware of a dispute regarding this title and have notified the publisher. The book is not currently available for sale in our store,” according to the Associated Press.

Among the people disputing the claims made in the book are Diddy and Porter’s children. In a statement, Quincy Brown, Christian Jessi, and D’Lila Combs said, “Claims that our mom wrote a book are simply untrue. She did not, and anyone claiming to have a manuscript is misrepresenting themselves. Additionally, please understand that any so-called ‘friend’ speaking on behalf of our mom or her family is not a friend, nor do they have her best interests at heart.”

The “friend” they are referring to is Todd Christopher Guzze, the book’s author, who claims that the memoir comes from a diary Porter wanted made public before her 2018 death.

Singer Al B. Sure!, who once dated Porter and is the father of her oldest son, has also denounced the book, sending a cease-and-desist letter to Todd and Amazon last week that states, “By misrepresenting his personal life and fabricating serious, false accusations of inappropriate sexual behavior, these defamatory claims have caused significant damage to Mr. Brown’s reputation.”

The most shocking claim made about the R&B artist in the book is that he engaged in sexual activities with Diddy.

While the book was seemingly released under the radar, it quickly grew in popularity after the news of Diddy’s arrest was announced, making it an almost instant bestseller.
