4 tourists dead, 23 critical in bus accident in Balasore
by Sudeshna Panda · KalingaTVBalasore: A bus accident in Balasore has been reported on Saturday in which as many as four have been killed and 23 have been injured.
According to reports, four tourists have allegedly died on the spot after the bus they were travelling in met with an accident on national highway number 16. The accident took place near Chalanti bypass in Jaleswar in the wee hours of Saturday.
Further it is worth noting that round 23 passengers have reportedly sustained injuries in the mishap. According to latest reports, the condition of 16 tourists is stated to be critical.
The bus was en-route to Puri from Uttar Pradesh. It has been alleged that the driver lost control over the bus due to drowsiness. Rescue operations were intitiated by the police with the help of the locals. The injured tourists have been admitted to the hospital. Detailed reports awaited.
