IND vs NZ: New Zealand all out for 402 on day 3 of 1st first test

Bengaluru: In the first test of IND vs NZ, on day 3 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Friday New Zealand were all out for 402. New Zealand leads by 356 runs.

According to a BBCI X post here saying at the, “Innings Break! New Zealand all out for 402. 3 wickets each for @imjadeja & @imkuldeep18, 2 wickets for @mdsirajofficial and 1 wicket each for vice-captain @Jaspritbumrah93 & @ashwinravi99”

It is worth mentioning here that, team India recorded its lowest ever total on home soil at 46 all out on Day 2 of the first test verses New Zealand. The score was registered at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Thursday.

India won the toss on Wednesday and elected to bat first. However at around 2:30 pm play on day 1 had to be called off due to incessant rain.

Earlier, the India vs New Zealand first test match was slated to start on Wednesday in Bengaluru, but rain delayed the toss. It is worth mentioning that, the Test series between India and New Zealand was scheduled to begin at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. But incessant rains in the city led to a delayed toss.

Persistent rain in the IND vs NZ match led team India to cancel its practice session ahead of the India vs New Zealand first test match. However, team New Zealand practiced in the indoor nets. “Team India’s training session is cancelled due to rain,” read a post from BCCI.
