US Embassy opens 250,000 visa appointments in India

Good news for traveller who are waiting to get their US visa. The US Embassy in India has opened an additional 250,000 visa appointments for Indians. The Visa will be granted to tourists, skilled workers, and students.

The US Embassy India shared a post announcing the new slots that reads, ” The U.S. Mission to India has opened an additional 250,000 visa appointments for Indian travelers, including tourists, skilled workers, and students.”

With the new slots released, now hundreds of thousands of Indian applicants can take timely interviews that will help on facilitating the travel which is the backbone of the people-to-people ties that underpin the US-India relationship, said the posters shared by US Embassy in India.

The Embassy also informed that the U.S. Mission to India has surpassed one million non-immigrant visa applications for the second consecutive year.

We are now focused on bringing families together, connecting business, and facilitating tourism, the poster added.
