Shocking! Odisha couple arrested for killing minor caretaker in Bengaluru
by Sudeshna Panda · KalingaTVBengaluru: In a shocking incident, an Odisha couple has been arrested for killing their minor maid in Bengaluru, said reports on Thursday. The body of the minor was found from a suitcase in Bengaluru.
However later, the Tamil Nadu Police arrested an Odia couple on the charges of murder of the maid. The couple killed the minor girl for not feeding her son. On September 27, Abinash Sahu’s wife Ashwini Patil insisted on eating their son’s food.
But Sumain, the minor who was looking after her son, did not allow her to eat it. Ashwini got angry and kicked the girl and locked her in a room. Sumain who was injured, died of her injuries. On knowing about the death of the minor, the couples panicked.
They packed the body in a suitcase and took it in their car to Sankri in Tamil Nadu and threw it under the bridge at Vaikuntambu. The local police seized the body and started an investigation.
The murder was linked back to the couple by the police. However their phone was switched off since the incident. The couple have been remanded for further questioning and have been kept at Salem Central Jail after questioning.
