MG Motor India had launched the Windsor EV in India last week. The manufacturer had not revealed the prices of the EV back then. The EV under the BaaS program is priced at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Under the program, the customers will have to pay Rs 3.5/km (excluding the charging cost). If a user does not opt for the BaaS program, the EV will cost Rs 13.49 lakh (ex-showroom).

The above-mentioned price is meant for the base variant i.e. Excite of the EV. On the other hand, the top of the range variant i.e. Essence costs Rs 14.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The cost is Rs 1 lakh more as compared to the base variant. Buyers also get multiple offers on the sale of the EV and that includes a lifetime warranty on the battery for the first owner, assured 60 percent buyback after three years, and 1 year free charging at public chargers.
