Actor Aamir Khan has special plans for Amitabh Bachchan's 82nd birthday on October 11. He will be appearing on the quiz show, Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, which is hosted by Amitabh. He will be joined by his son, actor Junaid Khan.

Sony Entertainment Television released a promo teasing Aamir and Junaid's participation on KBC 16. In it, the father-son duo steps out of their vanity van on the show's set. Aamir, in a hushed tone, shares, "sshhhh..Amit ji ko pata nahi chalna chahiye ki hum logg aaj show par hai (Amit Ji shouldn't know that we are on the show today)." Junaid smiles as his father teases the audience.

While sharing the promo, the channel also revealed that the episode will air on Amitabh Bachchan's birthday on October 11 at 9 pm.

In 2022, Amitabh celebrated his 80th birthday on the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati 15 with his son Abhishek Bachchan and wife Jaya Bachchan. His 81st birthday celebrations also took place on the set of the quiz show. The celebration included a performance by Sarod player Padma Vibhushan Ustad Amjad Ali Khan and video birthday wishes from actors like Vicky Kaushal, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Vidya Balan, and Chiranjeevi.

Amitabh Bachchan, meanwhile, remains one of the industry's busiest actors. He was last seen in Nag Ashwin's sci-fi drama Kalki, and his performance was appreciated by all. He will next be seen in Vettaiyan along with Rajinikanth. The film will hit the theatres on October 10, a day before his birthday.
