UGC NET 2024 results likely to be announced today. Over 9 lakh candidates await

The results of the CSIR-UGC-NET June 2024 exam, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), are expected to be released today. According to the Human Resource Development Group (HRDG), a division of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), the results were scheduled for an October 15, 2024 release. The final answer key for the exam was made available on October 13, 2024.

ABOUT THE UGC NET EXAM

The UGC NET June 2024 exam, held from August 21 to September 4, was conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format.

Nearly 9 lakh candidates appeared for the test, which determines eligibility for the roles of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship in Indian universities and colleges.

The exam covered a wide range of 83 subjects, including Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Punjabi, and more.

Earlier, the NTA had provided a provisional answer key, allowing candidates to raise objections until September 13, 2024. Candidates paid a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question to challenge any discrepancies.
