The registration deadline for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 has been extended, allowing candidates to apply without a late fee until October 3, 2024. The examination is set to take place on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025, with results announced on March 19.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has extended the deadline for submitting online applications for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025. Candidates can now complete their registrations without a late fee until October 3, 2024. For those who missed this deadline, applications can still be submitted for a late fee until October 7, 2024 on the official website.

The examination is scheduled for February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025, with the results set to be declared on March 19, 2025. Admit cards will be available from January 2, 2025.

Students currently enrolled in the third year or beyond of any undergraduate programme are eligible to apply. Additionally, candidates who have already completed a government-recognised degree in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, Arts, or Humanities are eligible.

  • Click on new login and enter credentials
  • Fill in the application form and upload all the documents
  • Pay the application fee and submit the form

This year, the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 will be administered by IISc Bengaluru in partnership with seven IITs: Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, and Roorkee. The exam is organized under the National Coordination Board (NCB), which operates within the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India.
