Video: Driver drags two traffic cops on bonnet in Delhi

A video has surfaced showing a driver at New Delhi' Ber Sarai red light crossing, where two traffic policemen were clinging to the bonnet of a speeding car. The incident occurred around 7:30 PM on Saturday, November 2, 2024, when the driver of the vehicle, jumped the red light and attempted to flee after being signalled to stop by the officers. The driver initially halted but then sped off, dragging the officers for approximately 20 meters before hitting them. Both officers, ASI Pramod Singh and HC Sailesh Chouhan sustained minor injuries and were promptly taken to Safdurjung Hospital for treatment. An FIR has been filed against the driver for attempted murder and obstruction of official duty.
