TVS Ronin becomes more affordable, new colour option added

The entry-level variant of the TVS Ronin has received a price cut of Rs 14,000.

The TVS Ronin has become more affordable, with TVS Motor Company slashing the price of the base variant of the motorcycle to enhance its sales during the festive season. The top variant has also got an exclusive Midnight Blue colour option.

The TVS Ronin SS, which is the entry-level variant, is now priced at Rs 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom). Earlier priced at Rs 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom), the base variant has received a price cut of Rs 14,000.

At the heart of the motorcycle is a 225.9cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, 4-valve, SOHC engine, which delivers 20.4PS of maximum power and 19.93Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

The TVS Ronin is based on a double cradle split synchro stiff frame. The front has 41mm USD forks, while the rear gets s 7-step adjustable monoshock. The motorcycle uses 17-inch alloy wheels shod with tubeless tyres. There is a 300mm disc at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear.

Depending on the variant, you get single-channel and dual-channel ABS with rain and urban modes. Also, there are normal and adjustable levers basis the variant.

The TVS Ronin rivals the Royal Enfield Hunter 350, which is priced between Rs 1.50 lakh and Rs 1.75 lakh (ex-showroom).
