Caked in dust, sitting on sofa: Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar's final moments

Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar, who was the mastermind of the deadly October 7 attacks on Israel that left over 1,200 people dead, has been killed in an Israeli strike. The strike took place in Rafah. Sinwar’s final moments were captured on a video, showing him sitting amid the rubble of a building hit by an Israeli tank shell. Sinwar threw sticks at the camera.

His identity was later confirmed through DNA, dental records and fingerprints.
