Alia Bhatt says daughter Raha loves Naatu Naatu: It plays in my home every day

Alia Bhatt, at the pre-release event of the Telugu version of Jigra, revealed that her daughter Raha loves RRR song, Naatu Naatu. She explained how Raha asks her to play the song at home every day.

Alia Bhatt and the Jigra team, alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Rana Daggubati and Trivikram Srinivas, promoted the Telugu version of the film in Hyderabad on October 8. Speaking at the event, Alia Bhatt said that her daughter Raha loves dancing to RRR's viral song, Naatu Naatu at home. She also explained how her daughter requests her to play the song every day at home. Raha is almost two years old.

At the Jigra pre-release event in Hyderabad, Alia said, "Naatu Naatu plays in my house every day. Raha, my daughter, loves Naatu Naatu. She literally goes, 'Mumma, play Naatu Naatu.' Then, we play the song. Then, she makes me stand against some support and then we do the step. Obviously, she doesn't know how to do the step. But, she does this."

Alia also revealed that Raha has seen a clip of her doing the Naatu Naatu step at an award show. "She says, 'show mumma video doing Naatu Naatu'. So, Naatu Naatu plays in my house every day," she stated.

Praising the Telugu audience, she explained, "Telugu audience are superior in loving good films. Everyone else comes next. And that is why we released Gangubai [Kathiawadi] and Brahmastra in Telugu. And now, Jigra and I am really hoping that the love I received in the last couple of years also goes to our little film, Jigra. Vasan sir said it earlier that Jigra means courage. But, Jigra is also somebody who you love a lot."

The pre-release event of Jigra saw special attendance from Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Trivikram Srinivas and Rana Daggubati.
