  • Ranbir warned others against her 'politeness and fake accent'

Actor Ranbir Kapoor appeared in the first episode of Netflix show Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Lives and cheered for his sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. The actor spoke about always being there for her, and also took a dig in the most brotherly fashion ever.

The makers got Ranbir in a video while his mother, Neetu Kapoor, joined Riddhima in another. The Animal star first said, "F***! Riddhima is doing a reality series. It's not even dawned upon me. I don't know, I think I had mixed feelings about it. All her life, she looked down upon movies."

Riddhima instantly denied the statement in her defence, but it didn't take Neetu to side with her son on the statement. Ranbir went on and warned everyone against falling for his sister's "politeness and fake accent". He mocked Riddhima and shared, "What's there to worry about? She is munphat (loud-mouthed), she has no filters. Riddhima is going to really mess it up."

The actor continued, "She's somebody who will eventually just take it under the nose. You know? She's that person. She's a chhupa rustam (very clever). So, don't get taken by her politeness or her fake accent."

Ranbir then balanced out his description of his sister. He mentioned that he would always be supporting her in every way possible. "If there had been a voting line, I would be on it constantly to ensure her victory," he said.

Riddhima joined other Delhi socialities, Kalyani Saha and Shalini Passi in the show. The third edition of the Netflix series pits the OG Bollywood wives, Neelam Kothari, Bhavana Pandey, Maheep Kapoor and Seema Sajdeh, against the Delhi divas. The show premiered on October 18 and is currently streaming on Netflix.
