Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder Festival limited edition launched with exclusive TGA package

The Urban Cruiser Hyryder Festival limited edition gets 13 specially-designed Toyota genuine accessories.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the Urban Cruiser Hyryder Festival limited edition with an exclusive Toyota genuine accessories package. The special edition model is available in both strong hybrid and Neo Drive powertrains in the top-spec G and V variants.

Among the exterior chrome and ornamental accessories are mudflap, door visor, front and rear bumper garnish, headlamp garnish, hood emblem, body cladding, fender garnish, rear door lid garnish and door chrome handle. The interior premium and advanced accessories include an all-Weather 3D floormat, leg room lamp and digital video recorder.

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder has two versions, the strong-hybrid e-drive and the mild-hybrid Neo Drive, with the latter available with both 2WD and AWD configurations. The strong hybrid uses a 1.5-litre petrol motor which in tandem with an electric motor, delivers a total system output of 116bhp, with the ICE rated at 92bhp and 122Nm of torque and the electric motor rated at 80bhp and 141Nm of torque. The power is sent to the front wheels via the e-drive transmission. Toyota claims the fuel efficiency figures to be 27.97kmpl.

Toyota is calling the mild-hybrid car Neo Drive. This uses a 1.5-litre motor producing 102bhp and 135Nm of torque and can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The AWD option is available on this powertrain but only with the manual transmission.

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder price starts at Rs 11.14 lakh and goes up to Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The mid-size SUV rivals the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Tata Curvv, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun and MG Astor.

Toyota is also offering a complimentary package worth Rs 50,817 to the customers opting for Urban Cruiser Hyryder Festival limited edition, made available at dealerships across India till October 31. The accessories will be fitted by certified Toyota technicians across dealerships.
