Tata Sons Chairman Emeritus Ratan Tata's dog, Goa, which he had adopted, also paid homage to his master along with hundreds of people who came to pay their last respects to the industrialist and philanthropist in Mumbai. The dog was seen sitting next to his casket.

Ratan Tata, who died at the age of 86 on October 9 at Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital after prolonged illness, was accorded a state funeral by the Maharashtra government. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, who called Tata a "unique blend of morality and entrepreneurship", also declared a day of mourning in the state on Thursday to pay tribute to the industrialist.
