A boundary wall of the Mahakal Temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, collapsed on Friday following heavy rainfall. Several people were feared trapped beneath the debris, and a rescue operation has been launched.

Some of the injured have been shifted to the hospital, but the exact number of people trapped under the rubble remains unclear, according to officials.

Locals estimate that around half a dozen people may still be trapped under the debris.
