An ambulance worker carried a patient for 2 km amid heavy rains following Cyclone Dana in Odisha's Kendrapara district.

Odisha Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari said that 35.95 lakh people in the state have been impacted by the cyclone, which hit the state on Thursday.

As many as 8,10,896 people were evacuated to 6,210 cyclone relief centres.

The worst-hit districts include Kendrapara, Balasore and Bhadrak, while the human casualty “still stands at zero”, Pujari said.
