Lakshya, last seen in Kill, has landed another project with Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, where he will star opposite Ananya Panday. Lakshya shared a post on Instagram and hinted that the film will most likely be announced today. Details of the project are not yet known, but it marks their first collaboration together.

In a complete shift from his action-packed role, Lakshya is set to take on a romantic lead in a new project starting in 2025. The film is reportedly believed to be directed by Vivek Soni, known for Meenakshi Sundareshwar, featuring Sanya Malhotra and Abhimanyu Dassani in 2021.

Lakshya's recent release, the action-packed Kill, turned out to be one of 2024's surprise hits. Co-starring Raghav Juyal and Tanya Maniktala, the film featured Lakshya as an NSG commando. Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat and produced by Dharma Productions, it garnered attention for its intense action sequences and sharp screenplay. However, some critics felt it was excessively violent for Indian audiences.
