Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor's Devara has finally hit theatres, receiving an overwhelmingly positive response from audiences. Shikhar Pahariya, who watched the film in cinemas, seemed captivated by Janhvi's beauty. He cheered for her performance and shared a picture of the actor from the film.

Both Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan make their debut in the Telugu film industry with this movie, which marks Jr NTR's first solo release in six years. As per early estimates, the film takes off to a good start on opening day. The film minted Rs 77 crore in India and Rs 140 crore worldwide. In the Telugu region, the movie earned Rs 68.6 crore. However, Devara Part 1 earned Rs 7 crore in Hindi, Rs 0.3 crore from the Kannada version, Rs 0.8 crore from the Tamil version, and Rs 0.3 crore from the Malayalam version.

Devara Part 1 has been directed by Kotarala Siva and features Jr NTR in the titular role. The film marks the Telugu debut of Saif Ali Khan, who plays the antagonist and Devara's brother Bhairava, and of Janhvi Kapoor, who plays Jr NTR's love interest in the film. Devara also features Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shruti Marathe and Shine Tim Chacko, among others.
