Woman, 10-month-old son, among 3 dead as car plunges into gorge in J&K
A car accident in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district left three members of a family dead, while three injured after their car skidded off a hilly road and fell into a gorge early Saturday.

Three people, including a woman and her 10-month-old son, died and three others were critically injured after their car skidded off a hilly road and plunged into a deep gorge in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. The incident took place around 12.40 am at Chamalu Morh on Saturday. The victims belonged to the same family.
According to officials, the family was travelling from their village of Malikote to Chassana in a private Eeco car. The driver reportedly lost control, causing the vehicle to veer off the path and roll down the gorge. Kulcha Devi (27), her infant son Neeraj Singh, and her nephew Sandhoor Singh (19) died on the spot.
The injured individuals, identified as Chankar Singh (32) — Devi’s husband, his brother Dhunkar (19), and their nephew Ajay Singh (18) — were rushed to the Government Medical College (GMC) Hospital in Jammu, where they remain in critical condition.
Authorities confirmed that all those involved in the accident were residents of Malikote, Reasi district.
