Missing Kirkcaldy teenager, Natasha Gibson, 15, found safe and well

A 15-year-old from Kirkcaldy, missing since Wednesday, has been traced safe and well by police.

Natasha Gibson had not been seen since leaving her home in Hendry Crescent at around 10.30am on Wednesday.

Her family reported her missing to police on Thursday when she failed to return home.

The concern prompted a police search for the teenager who may have travelled to Dunfermline or Glenrothes.

She has now been found safe and well by officers.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said:”Thank you to those who shared our appeal for 15-year-old Natasha Gibson, who was missing from Kirkcaldy.

“Natasha has now been traced.”
