Breaking: Baba Siddique shot dead in Mumbai, two arrested

Baba Siddique has been shot dead in Mumbai. He was shot at the office of his son Zeeshan in Bandra. He has been declared dead.

NCP leader and ex-Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique has passed away after being shot by unidentified persons in Bandra. This incident happened in Mumbai on October 12. He was shot at his son Zeeshan's office, who is the MLA from Bandra East. He was then taken to the Lilavati hospital in Mumbai where the news of his death was confirmed. Two or three shots were fired at him and the police teams are rushing to the area where the incident happened. The bullet hit his chest. Two related to this accident have been arrested by the police.

Baba Siddique passes away

BJP leader Kirit Somaiya has said that this seems like a big conspiracy and it is a matter of concern. He has asked the government to make special team to investigate in this matter. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has also reacted to this and said that it is an extremely unfortunate incident. He shared that two people have been arrested, one from Uttar Pradesh and one from Haryana, while another is on the run. He also said that he does not want a gang-war-like situation should not be allowed to resurface in Mumbai.

Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has also reached the hospital. This incident has happened months ahead of the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Baba Siddique was one of the most popular politician and also a big name when it comes to Bollywood.
