Archana Puran Singh says they take a lot of money from Kapil Sharma [Exclusive]

The Great Indian Kapil Show is back with season 2 on Netflix. The first season aired on Netflix earlier this year, with Kapil Sharma hosting the show. He was joined by his talented team of Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, and Rajiv Thakur. Archana Puran Singh, who has been on Kapil's previous show for a long time, is a part of the cast as the permanent guest. The first episode of season 1 aired on September 21, 2024.

BollywoodLife spoke to Archana Puran Singh, Sunil Grover, Kiku Sharda, and Rajiv Thakur about The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2 and Kapil Sharma. We asked them what they think of Kapil Sharma's journey, who has been vocal about his highs and lows and his depression and anger issues. We asked them if they get inspired by him. Archana joked, "We take a lot of money from him. Ab toh wo co-producer ban gaya hai na on Netflix (he's now the co-producer with Netflix for the show)."

The Kuch Kuch Hota Hai star added, "He's an inspiration in so many ways with what he does. I feel that anybody who has been given this job to make people laugh, I think they are an inspiration. All these guys are inspiration." Further in this entertainment news, Archana also revealed how Rajiv Thakur used to ask why she used to give him an 8 on Comedy Circus. The actress revealed that she believes anyone who can make people laugh is truly blessed. Sunil, Rajiv, and Kiku, who were also a part of the interaction, agreed with everything Archana said about how Kapil is leading the pack and he's an inspiration to everyone.

When asked whether there was any nervousness or excitement with Season 2, Sunil Grover reacted, "When the season changes, it's always fun. You get new clothes, new feelings." When asked about how the first season received a mixed response, the cast joked, "Who is this one person who said they didn't like the show?"

The first episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2 featured team Jigra - Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Vasan Bala, and Vedang Raina. The next episode will be out on Netflix on September 28, 2024 and will feature Devara cast Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, and Janhvi Kapoor.
