Govinda discharged from hospital; actor's first visuals post revolver injury out

Govinda who was rushed to CritiCare Hospital in Mumbai after his licensed revolver misfired has now been discharged.

On October 1, Bollywood actor Govinda was rushed to the hospital after he sustained a bullet injury. As per the reports, Govinda got injured as his own licensed gun misfired. His brother Kirti spoke to the media and revealed that Govinda was about to leave to travel out of city and was keeping the revolver in the cupboard. The revolver accidentally dropped and misfired injuring Govinda's leg. His wife Sunita wasn't in the city then. Yesterday, Sunita Ahuja gave an update to the media stating that Govinda will get discharged today, i.e., on October 4. Now the first visuals from Govinda from outside the hospital are out.

Govinda has now been discharged from Mumbai's CritiCare hospital and is headed home. The media gathered outside the hospital managed to get a glimpse of the actor as he exited the hospital on a wheelchair. The visuals show a big cast on Govinda's left leg. Despite the injury, Govinda smiled bright for the paparazzi and thanked all for wishes with folded-hands. He also blew flying kisses.

Earlier, a doctor from the hospital gave an update on actor's health. The doctor shared that Govinda is completely stable and fit for discharge. However, he will have to take complete rest for the next few days until he recovers. After sustaining the injury, Govinda shared an audio note to the media stating that he was absolutely fine and the bullet that hit him was removed by the doctors.
