Appearing as a guest on Efia Odo’s Bants And Confession podcast, Shatta Wale revealed that he recorded his popular song “ON GOD” after Ghanaians started comparing him to Black Sherrif when he stepped into the music industry.
According to him, he got hurt and shocked at the same time over the comparison as he described himself as a career breaker.
Shatta Wale revealed that when he was recording the song, God sent his angels to his studio to direct him.
“I sat down to record the song and angels were in my room. That’s what people didn’t know. The song was so spiritual to me before it came out. So when i sit down and see all these comparison, i go like please don’t try and fight what you don’t know”, Shatta Wale disclosed.
According to Shatta Wale, he is one of God’s favourite hence when anyone attacks him, the angels in heaven and the saints gets angry and fight on his behalf.
“I am like the phoenix”, the Melissa hitmaker bragged.
