Tributes paid to 'beautiful and talented' Irish woman, 33, killed in crash in Australia

Skye Kavanagh, 33, from Ballinasloe in Co Galway, was killed in a single-vehicle collision involving a motorbike, which occurred in the Australian capital of Canberra on Thursday, October 31.
She was rushed to hospital in a critical condition and sadly passed away on November 1.

In a post shared on RIP.ie, Skye's family said that she "will be deeply and sadly missed and never forgotten by her heartbroken parents Michael Sean and Veronica, brother and best friend Aiden, grandmother Maureen Kavanagh (nee Golding), grand-aunt Ann Doorhy, grand-uncle Frank Golding, cousins Gabriel, his wife Viviane and their daughter Leah, Frances and her son Oisin".
The family also paid tribute to Skye in a message which read: "Our beautiful, precious and adored daughter, sister, grand-daughter, grand-niece, cousin and best friend to everyone who knew her.
"You are away up in the Heavens of paradise now Skye, you are a beautiful star shining down on us. Sleep tight with the angels our little darling. There's windows up in Heaven that Skye can see through and we know the good Lord took her cause he wanted her around and watching over us."
Skye's friends and family have also shared their own emotional tributes to the popular Galway woman.
"My sincere condolences on the loss of your beautiful and talented daughter Skye, may the angels look after and wrap their arms around Skye and may Jesus put his arms around Skye's devoted mammy, Daddy, brother and family and may Jesus bless and console you at this time. God bless you all, I am praying for you all," said one mourner.
"Deepest Sympathy to all of Skye's family & extended family members on her sudden passing at a very young age, Prayers for her family to deal with this heavy cross may she rest in eternal peace with the Angels," added another.
A third person, meanwhile, said: "Sincerest condolences to Skye's family and loved ones on her sudden departure from this life. May you be comforted in your loss. RIP beautiful lady."
Skye's funeral service is due to be held in Canberra at 1pm local time on Thursday (November 14).
