Body found, ending month-long search for missing Dublin man

The search for a young man missing for one month has been stood down following the discovery of a body.

Adrian Kuchcinski, aged 25, was reported missing from Kilmainham in Dublin on Thursday, October 17.

He was described as being around 6' 1" in height, with a broad build, brown hair and blue eyes.

Gardai issued an appeal for help finding him, stating that they were concerned for his welfare, and asked anyone with information to contact them.

In a sad update this afternoon, officers confirmed that the missing persons appeal has been stood down following the discovery of a body. They thanked the public for their help.

A Garda spokesperson said: "Following the discovery of a man’s body, the missing person appeal for Adrian Kuchcinski (25) who was reported missing from Kilmainham, Dublin 8 since Thursday 17th October 2024 has been stood down.

"No further media action is required and no further information is available at this time. Gardaí would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance."
