Man and woman charged in connection with death of young father Ger Kennelly in Kerry
by Andrew E Quinn · Irish MirrorA woman, 20s, and a man, 30s, are due to appear in court on Thursday morning charged in connection with the death of young father Gerard 'Ger' Kennelly, 36, in the rural village of Knockanure, Co. Kerry in May.
The woman, who was arrested on Wednesday in connection with the investigation into Mr. Kennelly's death, has since been charged and is expected to appear before Listowel District Court at 10.30am on Thursday.
The man will be brought before Listowel District Court to be charged at around the same time.

Mr. Kennelly was discovered with fatal injuries at the scene of an alleged fatal assault in Knockanure, Co. Kerry on May 27, 2024.
Reacting to the news of Mr. Kennelly's death at the time, local councillor, Robert Beasley, offered his condolences to the family of the deceased.
"When something like this happens out in the country, it's always a shock. It is devastating news for the family and the whole area," he told the Irish Mirror.
At the time of the alleged incident, local Councillor Mike Kennelly said the entire area was stunned following the death, describing it as "probably the most quaint little village in Kerry".
