A comedian has told how Roy Keane once gave him a compliment after a stand-up gig at a school.

Justin Moorhouse received praise from the Manchester United legend after performing at the school that both his and Keane's daughters attended.

The comedian and Man United fan was surprised to see the former Republic of Ireland captain come up to him after the gig to praise him.

When asked by Four Four Two which past or present United players would make the best comedian, Moorhouse said: "Roy Keane might be very good. I mean, would anyone try to heckle Roy Keane?

"Roy came to see me doing stand-up, actually. I didn’t even know he was there at first – it was a fundraiser at my daughter’s school and his daughter went there, too. He walked over afterwards and said I was very funny. I thought, ‘Cheers!’
