Odisha Assembly Deputy Speaker’s Car Meets With Accident On NH In Sambalpur

Sambalpur: Odisha Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker Bhabani Shankar Bhoi’s car met with an accident on NH 10 near Salepada village under Rengali police limits in Odisha’s Sambalpur district on Sunday evening.

According to sources, the car skidded off the road and fell into a small gorge. Bhoi’s personal security officer (PSO) and driver were in the car when the accident took place.

A team from Rengali police station soon reached the spot and got the injured persons admitted at a hospital. A crane was then used to lift the car from the gorge.

Bhoi, a BJP legislator from Talsara Assembly segment in Sundargarh district, was unanimously elected as the Deputy Speaker of Odisha Assembly in July this year.
