She explained that she needs “a few days” to prioritize her health, adding that she wants to be “present” on stage and give the best shows possible. Roan was originally scheduled to play at New York’s Forest Hills Stadium on Saturday and at Maryland’s Merriweather Post Pavilion on Sunday. In a statement of support, the festival emphasized the importance of putting artists’ well-being first and asked fans to “rally around Chappell Roan with love and understanding.” The full lineup for the two-day event still includes Laufey, Bleachers, Janelle Monáe, Hozier, Reneé Rapp, Ethel Cain, Julien Baker, Conan Gray, and more.
